Nadia Attura: Dreamscapes of Colour and Memory
In her latest series, Nadia Attura invites us into vivid worlds where photography, collage, and paint meet in poetic harmony. A graduate of the University of the Arts London, Nadia began her career in photojournalism, but her practice soon evolved beyond documentary. Today, her work reimagines place through emotion, layering photographed details, washes of colour, and touches of gold leaf to create painterly compositions that feel both timeless and transportive.
Each piece begins with her own photography, captured on location from the sun-drenched trails of California to the lush greenery of South East Asia. These fragments are collaged and hand-worked with chalk, pencil, and ink, transforming memory into something tactile, dreamlike, and deeply personal.
Backwaters Blue

A vintage-inspired journey through jungle forests alive with birdsong. This large-format artwork draws inspiration from South Africa, India, and Central America, where paradise hums in shades of cerulean and emerald. It’s an escape. A tropical reverie that radiates warmth through winter interiors.
Blue Keys

Sunshine, salt air, and Miami’s pastel glow. Blue Keys captures the breezy optimism of coastal walks through the Florida Keys, merging photography, collage, and paint into a serene statement piece. Its cool palette makes it a natural companion for modern spaces. Tranquil yet uplifting, nostalgic yet new.
Cactus Series

Nadia’s Cactus Midnight, Cactus Valley, and Cactus Jade form a lyrical trilogy of desert botanicals. Inspired by travels through Palm Springs, Arizona, and Southeast Asia. Each work celebrates the resilience and rhythm of nature: moonlit silhouettes, sun-baked trails, and imagined oases layered in chalk and ink. There’s a quiet spirituality in these pieces. The sense of standing still in vastness, of feeling connected to the earth and sky.

Collecting Nadia Attura

Attura’s limited-edition fine-art prints are produced on 308gsm cotton Giclée paper using archival pigment inks. Each is signed, numbered, and accompanied by a certificate of authenticity, ensuring the longevity and collectability that discerning collectors value. Her works already feature in prominent residential and public projects worldwide, bridging the gap between art and interior design.
For those seeking colour with meaning, narrative with texture, Nadia’s art offers both. An invitation to travel without leaving home.
