Notes To Strangers

Notes To Strangers is the creation of former advertising creative Andy Leek who suffered burnout from his pressurised day job and decided to start writing small, positive messages that he would leave in copies of Metro on the tube, hoping “to make some small difference to their day.”

As the notes started to create momentum, Leek took his project to the next level, pasting up A4 messages around London, addressed to passers-by and posted on Instagram: “Happiness is worth the struggle”, “Some foods make excellent spoons” and “Avoid big decisions when horny” are some of the most memorable.

The poster with the most likes ever remains pinned on his wall: “Always keep in mind when you are sad, there will be a time when you are happy”.
