Nathalie Kingdon

Nathalie Kingdon is a French screen-printer artist based in London working from her bespoke studio at Wimbledon Art Studios. Silkscreen printing has been her medium of choice for many years now. She works essentially from images taken and collected from various sources of inspiration with a propensity for the South of France where she comes from. Through the process of finding images, exposing and printing them, her journey in creating her art prints, is about transforming and enhancing them with a particular sense of colour, juxtaposition of shape and form, often playing with proportion and perspective. She is most interested in the new narratives that inevitably takes place within the frame of the print; narratives that organically evolve through her thoroughly instinctive and playful approach.
