Alexandria Coe is a British artist whose line drawings often depict abstract nudes. She uses fluid, confident lines and her work has a minimalism and spontaneity much admired by collectors. Her aim is to capture a positive and energetic view of women and women’s bodies.
The artist likes to work with traditional, techniques and materials as a contrast to the digital world. “She draws quickly to capture the sensuality of a form rather than the exact image,” says one critic.
Alexandria has a degree in textile design from Chelsea College of Art and a Masters in Fashion Communication from Central St Martins.
